America's Reverse Bastille Day

January 6 is America's "Reverse Bastille Day". The "Storming of the Bastille" was the signature event of the French Revolution, which began the modern political era. The "October Revolution" of 1917 and the Iranian Revolution of 1979 were both modeled on the French Revolution. The corresponding signature event of the October Revolution was the storming of the Winter Palace and the signature event of the Iranian Revolution was the storming of the U.S. Embassy.

The storming of the Capitol on January 6 is America's corresponding event. I state that it is the "Reverse" Bastille Day because America"s Republican Party is the continuation of the French royal Bourbon Dynasty, which were America's first allies and the first to give it diplomatic recognition. This makes January 6 the reverse of the "Storming of the Bastille" because the Bourbon Dynasty were the target, rather than the attackers.
