Apocalyptic Development

In the posting "The End Of The World As We Know It" we saw that, in the Last Days, there will be an invasion of Israel by a power to the north that will start the final series of wars of the world, before the Return of Jesus to set up His Kingdom on earth. The world will have put it's faith in the Antichrist but he will be unable to prevent this from happening.

On a map it is easy to see that Moscow is due north of Israel. We also saw that "Persia, Libya and, Ethiopia" will be allied with the northern invader. Persia is the former name of Iran. Since most of Africa was unfamiliar at the time the prophecy was made, some believe that "Ethiopia" is a general term for one or more black African countries joining the invasion, rather than the specific country of Ethiopia, but this remains to be seen.

What is interesting is that, after the recent overthrow of the government of Syria, Russia is in the process of moving warships and planes from it's two bases in Syria to bases in Libya.
