Apocalyptic Developments

This is about the scenario described in the parallel postings, "The End Of The World As We Know It" and "Inducing The Apocalypse", both June 2025.

World events usually have some historical precedent, and Donald Trump is definitely setting a precedent for the Antichrist. It begins with rearranging the global economic order, being the most colorful figure in the world and, claiming credit for ending multiple wars. As far as being a colorful figure, I have never heard of anyone demanding a Nobel Peace Prize. Donald Trump has been sending the military into various American cities. The Book of Daniel is like the Old Testament version of the Book of Revelation. Chapter 7 describes the Antichrist as taking power from ten kings. Seven of the "kings" will give the Antichrist their power willingly but three will be taken by force. This is explained in detail in section 9) THE TEN KINGS of the posting "New Insight Into Bible Prophecy", October 2016. After the initial deployment to Washington DC, over which the Federal Government has more control, the military was then sent to three more cities, Chicago, Memphis and, Portland.

Jesus foretold that there would be "wars and rumors of wars" in the Last Days of the world. The news has been focused on the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine. But there are actually so many conflicts that we can scarcely keep track of them. A "rumor of war" might include a threat or a clash that doesn't turn into a full-scale war. Just this year there has been the border battle between India and Pakistan, the border battle between Cambodia and Thailand, the civil war in Myanmar, periodic ship incidents between China and the Philippines, Russian drone incursions into NATO countries, the U.S. attacking Venezuelan boats deemed to be carrying illegal drugs and, the border battle between Pakistan and Afghanistan. There is also the major insurgencies in countries like Pakistan, India and, Nigeria.

The possibility was in the news this week of the U.S. giving Tomahawk Cruise Missiles to Ukraine, to strike targets far inside Russia. Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus and an ally of Russia, said that this could lead to nuclear war.

Jesus foretold that people in the Last Days would be "in fear of the roaring of the sea". The "roaring of the sea" is caused by high winds and the increasingly ferocious storms that are caused by global warming were in the news this week, such as New Jersey and Alaska.
