The Use Of Campaigning

In this presidential election I doubt that campaigning, by both sides, made much difference at all. When the candidacy of Kamala Harris was announced, everyone knew who they were going to vote for and extremely few people changed their minds because of campaigning. The money that was spent on campaigning, by both sides, could have been donated to charity instead.

REMEMBERING BUFFALO'S GROVER CLEVELAND

The name of Grover Cleveland is all over Buffalo. Until Donald Trump, he was the only U.S. president who served two terms that were not contiguous. Grover Cleveland was originally from New Jersey. The story is that he was on his way out west and stopped to visit a relative in Buffalo, and ended up staying. He became Erie County Sheriff, then Mayor of Buffalo, then Governor of New York State, then President of the United States. The president who followed his second term was William McKinley, who would be assassinated in Buffalo.
