Did you review "America And The Modern World Explained By Way Of Paris", December 2015, that I referred to last week in "The Revolution Series"?
Now you can see why the Storming of the Capitol, on January 6, 2021, is so important to America's recent history. The Storming of the Capitol was an apparently unsuccessful attempt to restore Donald Trump to the presidency, but it was a long-term success as he was elected again in 2024.
We saw in "The Revolution Series", March 2025, how the signature event of the French Revolution, which opened the modern political era, was the Storming of the Bastille. Each reenactment of the revolution likewise has some corresponding "storming", of some feature representing the establishment, as it's signature event. America's Storming of the Capitol was also a reenactment of it.
What is different is that, as we saw in "America And The Modern World Explained By Way Of Paris", December 2015, America's Republicans (which is definitely a misnomer) are actually a continuation of the Bourbon Dynasty that was overthrown and guillotined in the French Revolution. Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette had been America's first allies and had helped it to gain independence.
So America's version of the French Revolution, with the Storming of the Capitol as it's signature event, is actually about reversing the original revolution and restoring the king. As we saw in "The Theory Of Kings", April 2022, we haven't eliminated monarchy at all. The way that things have been done for thousands of years isn't going to go away overnight. We just don't call them kings anymore, and we saw that Donald Trump is really a king.
