This is the homemade bread that I sometimes make. It is not baked, just whole wheat flour, with oil and water, done on the stovetop. Making it may be just a little bit messy but there is nothing like hot bread on a cold winter day. I don't use a roller so that it is thick and doughy. It is inspired by breads like chapati, but the best name that I can think of for it is "breadcake".
