Apocalyptic Developments

This is in regard to the parallel postings "The End Of The World As We Know It" and "Inducing The Apocalypse", both June 2025.

The Book of Revelation tells how everyone will have a "mark" in the Last Days, which will be necessary to buy or sell. I have long thought that the "mark" is actually phones. St. John was an ancient man without the slightest concept of modern technology. He was given a vision of the distant future, and described it as best he could. Doesn't the icon for a digital wallet look like it could be the "mark"? Digital wallets are taking over financial transactions. Paper checks are on the way out. Car keys are the next thing to be added to digital wallets.

It is still not apparent what the 666 means but numbers are everywhere with phones. Aside from the phone number, there is the IP address and the IMEI number.

We know that the Antichrist will be the greatest leader that the world has ever seen and will be from Europe. Donald Trump continued his dismissive attitude toward Europe. He recently stated that European culture is being "erased", that it's leaders are "weak", and that European nations are "decaying". Trump clearly favors Russia in the war with Ukraine. Meanwhile, the leaders of Britain, France and Germany met in London to discuss the Ukraine situation. What Europe really needs is a great leader of it's own.

Jesus foretold that there would be "wars and rumors of wars" in the Last Days of the world. There are so many conflicts, and potential conflicts, that we can scarcely keep track of them. The old border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand has flared up again. There is a conflict of at least words between Japan and China. But this prophecy wouldn't mean anything to most people if there wouldn't be global news in the Last Days.

Jesus also foretold the earthquakes in the Last Days of the world. There was a powerful earthquake off the coast of northern Japan this week, resulting in a tsunami alert and a warning about a possible "mega earthquake".
