This week's flooding in Toronto was a glimpse of what we saw in the story of how Toronto's ravines, the Don Valley and, the islands were formed by the tremendous amount of water released by the melting glaciers at the end of the last ice age. Except that this flooding was caused by excessive rainfall rather than by melting glaciers. This is a link to the original posting. We saw it last week in the posting "Ontario Science Centre".
