A demonstrator climbed onto the balcony of the Iranian Embassy in London, tore down the flag, and replaced it with another flag. The flag was not the present flag of Iran. The flag had the lion, the sword and, the sun. Image from the Wikipedia article "Flag of Iran".

This was the Imperial Flag, of the Shah's monarchy that was overthrown by the present government in the revolution of 1979. The flag was changed after the revolution, with these symbols removed.
This is an example, again, of how history so often repeats itself. Remember that we saw in the posting "When The Last Forty Years Began" that the present series of events began with the siege of the Iranian Embassy in London, in 1980. That was more than forty years ago, but I wrote it in 2022.
