Apocalyptic Developments

Britain has launched a satellite that can see people inside buildings by their heat signatures. This infrared technology has implications both for warfare and for the future surveillance society of the Antichrist. If infrared technology was used on drones then the drone could be guided to where it could kill the most people by their heat signatures. There would be no way to hide or take cover. For surveillance, cameras could watch people not only when they were within view but also when they were behind walls. People could be identified because each person would have a different heat signature. 

There has been a lot of technical developments since the last major war and these two wars are working out the new technology in terms of both warfare and surveillance. Israel has hacked Iran's security cameras. But this opens the possibility of all such cameras everywhere being used for future surveillance. The limiting factor has always been the number of people that would be required to sift through the vast amount of data from millions of cameras. But now that can be done by AI. It's not that AI is "smarter" than people, but that it can easily do the work of millions of people.
