I would like to express sympathy for the mass shooting this week in Erie, Pennsylvania. This is just surreal. About 25 years ago I did various sales work in Erie.
Erie has an interesting urban legend. This is not my idea. The legend is that the developers of the Mill Creek Mall had difficulty dealing with the city while building the mall. So they purposely built the mall in the shape of a gun pointing toward City Hall.
The first of the following images is from Google Earth. The second is from the Wikipedia article "Glock".
I am not sure how true the legend is but it points toward the area where this week's mass shooting took place.
